We’re beyond excited to introduce Marlon Noble, our new sommelier at Esther. With a splash of expertise, a dollop of passion, and a generous pour of global experience, Marlon is here to elevate your wine game to delicious new heights.
Born and bred in the illustrious vineyards of Stellenbosch, South Africa, Marlon’s wine journey is the stuff of legends. Marlon’s impressive resume includes stints in wine cellars, tasting rooms, laboratories, and sales departments. He’s worked on 14 vineyards across South Africa, the USA, New Zealand, and Germany, soaking up knowledge and crafting magic at some of the world’s most prestigious wineries.
Marlon’s globetrotting adventures have taken him far and wide, but for the past four years, he’s called New Zealand home. Here, he’s sprinkled his charm and expertise across various hospitality roles, but his heart has always belonged to wine. His life’s mantra? “Life is too short to drink bad wine” – and trust us, he means it.
